Allow ability to update Customer Credit Rating on AR Customer Payments screen

Existing functionality: The credit rating is displayed when entering a customer payment. This cannot be changed.

Requested functionality: Ability to change the credit rating of a customer in Customer Payments if the credit rating does now allow activity.


Business Impact: When a customer is assigned a credit rating that does not allow activity, it would be great to have the ability to change the credit rating when the late payment is being processed. This saves the user time from having to go back into AR -> Customer Information to change it.

    Ben, perhaps setting up credit ratings that are tied to AR activity and age will make this easier. Normally controls are in place and only specific users are allowed to alter credit ratings/limits on customers. Opening this up in Enter Payments could create issues down the road. If we do this, the change would need to be logged and the ability to do this should be a role permission.
