Automatic Maintenance Schedule for new Assets based on Group

When a new asset is added, it should take on the default maintenance schedule for assets based upon the group. For example a new utility is added to Texada, then a registration, servicing, inspections etc will be required. If assets have been grouped correctly then their maintenance requirements should be similar.

How often would this idea be used? Weekly
How much time would you save when the idea is implemented? It would save hours of work
How many people at your company would benefit from this idea? A Team or Group of People(5-25)
What problem is your idea trying to solve?

The current issue is having to enter a maintenance schedule manually may miss industry and legal requirements. This is a small tweak to current system technology, ( i.e. maintenance schedules at the group level exist but can only be implemented when a database is initially created.)

    Hi Mark,

If I am understanding this correctly, this functionality is currently available.

When running the Maintenance report or the generate Maintenance edit.

Checking the "copy group maint. schedule" box will apply the group level maintenance schedules to the products within the group that do not have a maintenance schedule already.
