Having site contact name appear on work orders
Mobile techs already see a contact phone number on work orders, but that's it. No contact name or extension if applicable. If the name was also included in this info on work orders it would make it much easier for them to reach the contact they need to, especially when dealing with large companies who have a massive phone directory. There is already a contact name field in SRM that mobile could grab the data from. The phone # field in SRM is already linked to work orders on mobile, so why can't the contact name be as well.

What problem is your idea trying to solve?
Having mobile techs be able to call customers & know who they need to speak with by looking at the work order info on their phone. There is already a contact name field in SRM that mobile could grab the data from. The phone # field in SRM is already linked to work orders on mobile, so why can't the contact name be as well. |
