Warn user earlier that Work Order has an outstanding Purchase Order against it before closing and provide the PO#

A customer has described an issue that frequently occurs when closing a WO in TW with an outstanding linked PO (from SRM). In these particular instances the mechanic has NOT requested parts in the mobile app and the WO is in a Completed status.

The team in the office go to close the WO for invoicing. They click ‘Close Work Order’ > click ‘Confirm’ to proceed > enter a date in the Repair Date field > select a Repair Code from the dropdown > select a Charge Code from the dropdown > click ‘Close Work Order’. It is only at this point that the ‘Error: You are not permitted to close this Work order since there are Purchase Orders referencing it.’ message appears.

Ideally, the Work Order should have a field/flag that indicates the PO is outstanding and the PO # before the user goes to close the work order. Additionally, the customer has requested that a more descriptive error message with the PO # appears as soon as the ‘Close Work Order’ button is clicked to avoid the additional steps. There is no way in Web to see which PO is linked.

When attempting to close a WO in SRM the error is thrown much sooner and the PO info is immediately provided. Essentially, it would be great to replicate this in Web.
