Delivery & Pickup Exception

An example of an exception, the contract has 10 Hoses, the delivery ticket has 10 hoses to deliver, once onsite the customer only wants 8, 2 are coming back.


Current work flow is to confirm the 8. The ticket is flagged. The dispatcher closes the ticket and a new delivery ticket is created for the 2 "not" delivered items. The dispatcher must then cancel this ticket and update the contract, two different steps.

There are a lot of places where something can go wrong here, we need to review this process and make it easier for mobile and dispatch.

We also need to look at what happens when:

  1. We need to delivery more than what is on the ticket, customer actually need 12 hoses, they are on the truck and we leave them with the customer, right now this needs to be a note on the ticket

  2. What happens if they need to delivery a different asset, the one on the ticket doesn't work and they need to exchange it for one that does. This can't be done on the mobile app.
